Our weekend was full of travels as we made our way home to Tennessee from spending the past two weeks in New York for a work trip. It was a fun visit, but I was so ready to get back home. I miss my little house and my KITCHEN mostly, hehe. But we were able to spend time with friends and family and that was good and we loved being able to be back in the Finger Lakes for a visit. The weather was incredible good to us and it was so warm and mild for the majority of our visit that it felt like we were still in the south! And spring has sprung while we were away, and things are green and budding and feeling brand new. My windows and doors are open, and there is something about the fresh springtime air that breaths new life into your soul, right?
Here are a few inspiring + interesting bits for your Monday::

Mmmmm this post just made me feel refreshed 🙂 Here in Hawaii we don’t get that fresh spring air, but I got a taste of it when we lived in Chicago! Spring was my favorite season because it was so beautiful to see the world return to it’s vibrant self.
Our weekend was short-lived as we are going to visit family later this week and so my husband only had Sunday off to make up for the lost hours. I feel like the week is going to draaaaggggg by…. he works 2 jobs and it feels like we rarely see him on weeks like this!
